PSP Password

Hi guys, right i bought a psp off my mate and when i try and access the wireless interner option it asks me for a 4 digit password, i have asked my mate and he doesn't seem to know what it is and says that he hasn't changed it at all, so does anyone know what this password is set to when it leaves the factory or any other way around this password?

p.s. i have also looked in the manual and there is nothing about it

Try the common defaults:
0000
1234
1357
2468

try deleting the internet connection and setting up a new one if you can?

no none of them work, even tried it with no internet connections and then creating a new one, basically the option that is stopping me is the "internet browser start control" under the security settings, so when i try and start the browser it just asks for a password, i think i might have to ask my mate again because it seems to have changed from standard

other than that is there any other way around this, i.e. updating firmware etc.?

i haven't got a psp, but it's down to your mate, he's obviously changed it.
