psp question

Just got hold of a psp, mainly for watching movies on holidays.

could anyone recommend a stand for it?

also, what is the battery life on psp's, do i need to consider buying a spare? if so, anyone recommend a decent one?

As for the battery, I find it excellent as it last for a few hours gaming and recharging is very fast, I do have a slim PSP though which, I think, has longer battery life than the original.

Use a memory stick instead of UMD for longer battery life. I get about 4-5 hours. There is a higher capacity battery but it's expensive. The fake ones on ebay work alright but don't live up to their claims. Still not bad for cheap

that was my next question, which program to convert my dvds into psp format. thanks for the link, i'll give that a try

I use PS3 Video 9 for any DIVX files that refuse to play, it converts a 314MB DIVX to a ~600MB MP4
