Hi, I bought a PSP the very first day they came out, ive hardly ever used it and i am selling it now....a bidder just asked me if it is PSP version 2.71 or under?.....i dont have a clue, like i say i bought it the very first day PSPs came out....can anyone tell me what version it is please?....Thanks :p

From the internet...

1. Turn on the PSP.
2. Go to the "Settings" category (it's the one farthest to the left).
3. Scroll down to the "System Settings" icon and press x.
4. Scroll down to "System Information" and press x.
5. The screen will display the PSP's MAC Address, System Software Version, and Nickname. The "System Software Version" is the firmware version.

probably 2 but if you go into settings, system settings then system information it will tell u ;)

Edit, bugger are we all bored today or what? :p

The bidder will be glad to hear it's 1.52. I think the only reason he'd be asking is if he wanted to run homebrew on it.

Neither did I, I didn't discuss it in any way. Don't think anyone else did either :)

Surely saying homebrew isn't against the rules

It was more to say to people posting later on not to allude to that side of things. :)

In any case, mentioning homebrew is probably enough anyway to get the mods ears up anyway.
