I want to change my PSU cables from black (the original colour) to white.
I have found conflicting recommendations about this.
How easy is this to do? Will I need PSU cables that are specific to the make and model I have?

Either you get cables that are specific to your PSU to replace your current ones, or you get extensions and those will work with any PSU.

Might have to drop some more cash on some custom cables.
Just got to figure out what ones I need and how long.
Wont be cheap.

Got to put all that extra cable length somewhere though. Easy in big cases, but as OP has an SFX PSU, I would guess that they have a smaller case as well.

Yes, it's a Lian Li A3 (micro ATX). I want to replace the black ones that came with it, and keep cabling to a minimum.

The case is mesh, so just using the cables that came with it and get on with it.
But that might be best because it's got the lowest risk of messing something up, and also I can get on with it finally.
Going to install the motherboard and PSU in the case (not plugged in) and lay all the wires out and look at the sockets etc.
