PSU Check Please

My brother is looking to get a 7970 and has a 'ACE 750W BR PSU with 12cm Red Fan and PFC - Black' PSU.

I think he should change it for one of these:

Looking for confirmation before I give him the go ahead!

You want to change his £25 750W PSU for a £50 550W PSU, think the price says it all.

I wouldnt trust a cheap PSU at all.

I don't, but he wanted to save money and avoid buying another one. Looks like he's got no choice.

ACE with only 22A (264W) on the +12v and -12v rails, and that's not even guaranteed that the unit can really output up to its rate spec
