Tagan TG530-U22 530W ATX2.01 2Force SLi Compliant Silent PSU (CA-005-TG)

Just got the above PSU through the post at work and noticed it has two PCI Express Power connectors for the graphics card. My board is AGP and uses the old 4 pin connector used on hard drives etc. can I just plug in one of the normal 4 pin connectors to the graphics card? As the two PCI express ones are fat shielded things.

Also my motherboard is a socket 754 which uses the 20 pin and seperate 4 pin connector for power. Is this PSU compatible with this configuration as the manual isnt very easy to understand (to me anyway).

Also just noticed there is one 4 pin connector to add to the 20pin block to make it a 24 pin connector. While there are two other 4 pin connetors called:

BASIC ATX/BTX 12V/P4 M/B Connector
and
Additional 12V/P4 4 PIN M/B Connector for ESP 12V

Which one goes in the seperate 4 pin clot on my mobo?

MOBO is an ASUS K8-N Deluxe Socket 754.

It should be compatable.

Do NOT plug in the 4 pin that makes the 20 pin atx 24 pin.

Info here (that's an OCZ, but same layout)

The 24 pin connector is a split type. It has a 4 pin "E" connector that is removable as shown in the 2nd post below. This connector marked "E" IS NOT A "P4" or "ATX 12v" CONNECTOR! It can be forced to fit into the 4 pin connector on the board, but it will have bad consequenses. Do not try this!

Here we have the P4 and P4+ connectors. They are attched when you receive the PSU, but they must be seperated to use the PSU on an ATX style board. For BTX the 2 connectors will be used as shown below. Simply slide them apart for ATX.

The 2 seperate 4 pin connectors are identical, except for the fact that one of them is not keyed properly for a standard P4 connector. The one marked P4 is the correct one to use for ATX. The one marked P4+ is to be used with a BTX board only. The are wired correctly, so if you were to force P4+ into a P4 connector it will work. Just beware that the one marked P4 is th right one to use and will push easily into the P4 connector on your board.
