Psu conundrum!

Hi,

I have been offered a second hand thermaltake purepower 680w for £45. It looks good in reviews but the only problem is the efficiency. (Between 57.1% and 67.7%)

Should i get it at this bargin price or get the seasonic s12 600w new for £90?

Basically will the cheap but less efficient psu cost me more in the long run?

opinions and thoughs?

Personally I would opt for a new Seasonic. I do however have to admit I am biased on two fronts. One being I hate anything made by Thermaltake, and the other being my main rig is powered by a Seasonic S12 600W PSU

I would also agree with the above guy. Get a seasonic psu. my mate has one and it is very good indeed.
