I've owned a Q-Tec psu in the past before getting into building computers properly, From what I remember from when I had it it caused me no ends of system hangs etc, Then day one powered it up and smoked poured out of it. Scary stuff

+1. Antec also do good PSUs; they are made by Seasonic which naturally means high quality.

Dunno yet. I'll wait until the replacement comes back from corsair. I could put the Seasonic from my everyday PC in it to see if the rig is OK, but it'll be a pain to do so. If it has It'll give me an excuse to upgrade.
