Hi guys, I am looking to replace the fan in my PSU as it has a broken blade.

It's the antec TP-750.

The current fan is: adda brushless ad1212hb-a7bgl.
(high-speed and low noise ball bearing fan) of 12 cm in diameter and 2.5 cm high with seven blades and 85, 2 CFM at 12 V (0,37A).

Could anyone recommend a decent quiet well performing 4 pin fan?

Is it still all about the Apache blacks or have we moved on now? :)

Cheers,
Adam.

Why do you want a 4 pin fan when your PSU has only the two pin fan installed? Unless you route the PWM cable back to your motherboard you'll not see any benefit of having a 4 pin fan installed.

Anyway I don't have a recommendation other than the one I currently use in my PSU, an Emermax Magma if they are still available to buy. However I would be wary as your PSU has even less heatsinking that mine and the 700rpm disparity might be a problem in your case.

Ah just saw that the fan connector board uses a xhp-4 style JST receptacle. The one I looked at earlier showed only two wires on the fan and was from a later model by the looks of it.

I've not seen a fan with a xhp-4 on it but the pin pitch is the same as molex fan connectors so you may be able to get it to fit with some luck.
