PSU for Dual GPU

Im running a shoddy so called 750W dell branded PSU and its limiting my 7950 overclocks.
Borrowed a TX750 and it got to 1250mhz at 1.2V. On the dell PSU it gets to 950mhz at 1.2V and crashes in all games.

What size would you guys recommend for a dual GPU setup? 850? And also, what PSU?

Forgot to mention. It has to be fully modular. Absolutely hate semi or non modular PSUs/.

In that case, the first XFX in the above list would be my recommendation.

I've got an XFX 850W XXX Silver and it certainly does the job and is very quiet while doing it but it is not fully modular, it's semi-modular and the OP specified fully modular.

The XFX 850 Silver is semi-modular, not fully modular.

@ OP, a 750W would be more than enough for 7950 xfire.

How much headroom is there? This will be used in a full custom WC loop and ill be driving 7 hdds.

Shows 581W used for crossfire 7950s at 1050 MHz, pushing them higher (1200 MHz) you could expect to see 700W once the rest of your system is factored in (at a guess). I would probably go for an 850W PSU just for safety, although on a high quality 750W unit you'd *probably* still be fine.

OCZ ZX 850w, its fully modular!

overclockers were doing an offer a week ago for £89

picked one up myself!
not sure when the offer will be back though :/
