I was looking to buy this PSU but looks like I can't find it anywhere in stock:

Thermaltake W0049 680W PurePower

Can you recommend something else?

I have E6600, Asus P5W DH Deluxe, X1950XT, I need power for Crossfire (x1950xt), SATA

Thanks

Enermax Liberty as suggested would do, other than that you could look at the FSP 700w, the Seasonic 600w, Tagan 6/700w or if you really feel like pushing the boat out then the Enermax Galaxy range is supposed to be extremely high quality.

what do you think about

Enermax Liberty 620W ELT620AWT ATX2.2 Modular SLI Compliant PSU (CA-024-EN) Price: £89.99 (£105.74 Including VAT at 17.5%)

or

Tagan TG700-U25 700W ATX2.0 Dual Engine Silent SLi Compliant Silent PSU (CA-014-TG) Price: £97.99 (£115.14 Including VAT at 17.5%)

both are SLI compliant but what about crossfire?

I have pretty muc hthe same setup as you but useing the X6800 instead of the 6600, I am using the OCZ GameXStream 700w with no probs :)

OCZ GameXStream 700w Silent SLI Ready ATX2 Power Supply (CA-019-OC) Price: £89.99 (£105.74 Including VAT at 17.5%)

good price
is it crossfire compliant?
anyone else using this psu?

Yes it is crossfire compatible mate, comes with 2 PCI-E (GFX) Leads and even has it on the box/manual stating it is crossfire ready/compatible :)

would u not want a modular one, to keep your case tidy?!?

or is it modualr??

Each lead is a seperate module, basically you only plug the leads in that you need to the the psu, then it's component.

yeh so u dont have to tuck away all those loose cables u get with normal psu's. so your case is more tidy and hopefully has better air cooling! ;)

and extremely overkill

No arguments here, I'm just highlighting the options. However once you start getting into the serious overclocks, water-cooling, Crossfire/SLi setups and multiple hard drives then a PSU of that standard starts to seem a lot less like overkill.

your better off saving your hundred quid and buying a tagan or seasonic 700w psu for half the price.

700w is by far enough power for xfire and tonnes of hdds!

i personally think that peoples perception of how much juice you need is extremely high.
