My ITX all round system is nearing it's final phase, and I'm just looking for a good effective and silent PSU that has a few resources to handle future upgrades.
I've purchases all the pieces within the last 3½ months when I could afford it, and here's what I have ended up with.

Cooler Master Elite 120 Advanced case
ASRock B75M-ITX Intel Core i5 3570 Ivy Bridge (Non-K model)
Xigmatek Praeton LD963 CPU cooler
Crucial BallistiX Tactical 8GB DDR3 1600MHz CL8 (2x4)
eVGA GeForce GTX 660 FTW 2GB (For-The-Win edition)
LiteOn iHas 124 DVD-RW
HGST Travelstar Z7K500 HTS725050A7E630 500GB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache 2.5" SATA 6.0Gb/s Internal Notebook Hard Drive
(I chose this small drive for better airflow).

What PSU would be sensible to mount into this system ?. I thinking of at least 550watt PSU ? There's no intention of overclocking, but I would like to throw a GTX 680 4GB into the system some time later.
I would prefer a semi-modular/modular PSU because the space is tight/limited.

Well i run one of these and i think its excellent! http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-166-CM

I thought about a similar setup to what your doing what now please post a build log and your thoughts on the case :) Also have you bought the case yet?

EDIT: Noticed its out of stock damnit, If u can find one cheap enough or a corsair hx/tx then get one :) The case fits full size ATX Psu's due to its shelf design
This http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-052-CS&groupid=701&catid=123&subcat=1084 but again its out of stock :/

Thank you for the suggestion ! I have looked at that PSU also (Coolermaster silent pro m600) - I remember having it a Thermaltake Lanbox m-atx build many years ago and it was a super pSU. I also looked at this one with silver 80+ http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-001-XF&groupid=701&catid=123&subcat=2466 - I know it may be a bit "over-the-top" but should be able to last through many upgrades also.

As for Corsair PSUs I have had my patience tested with them through the years now. For some odd reason one 1 out of 7 Corsair PSU's have been reliable in my system builds, so I try to avoid Corsair when it's about PSU's (I had CX500 = worked perfectly, just need more power for SLi, VX550 = DOA, TX650 = coilwhine after 1year, HX620 = extreme coilwhine from day one when under 0 load, got RMA'ed the same day, TX750 = fan stopped working after 6months, TX850 = was great untill it began getting extremely hot and smelly RMA'ed, HX1000 = coilwhine and fan rattle).

As for build log I will be doing one as soon as my Xigmatek cooler and the PSU to be chose have arrived and I'll take some pictures and post them through the entire build.
I have the case and everything else in hand now except for the cooler and PSU ... so I almost can't wait to get it completed :p
