PSU for me

Itll need to power/ have connetions for:
- 2 HDD's
- 1 SSD
- 1 DVDrw
- 1 Blue ray
- 1 spare molex for fan controller
- i5-2500k OC (below 1.4v)
- GPU (This will either be a GTX 560ti 448 or one of the new HD 7 series)
- Lots of fans
- Potential WC CPU loop

I currently have a HX620w, but its got to be at least 3 years old now, as much as an awesome CPU it is, after 3 years I wont trust any.

Ideally like to spend below £80 and have modular cables.

Was thinking either the Corsair 650m or an XFX model.

I have a Coolermaster Silent Pro Gold 800w and its fantastic, will easy power your rig and room for xfire or sli later on

Im never going to SLi/ xfire though, I barely game, so a single 560ti will suffice.

I doubt Ill ever use over 750w tbh.

Id prefer to go with Corsair, but the closest modular 600w+ PSU they do is almost £90 (everywhere else is £80...dont think OCUK got the memo), plus the Be Quiet PSU seems to have better connections (including 4x PCie connections).

3 year warranty is off putting slightly

Think I might just stick with my current PSU until it dies completely....good ol' Corsair 'ey

650w is recommended for GTX560 Ti SLi 750w for GTX570 SLi so if you're not going SLi, this would be ample for a single card and very high efficiency.

I only have 2 years on my BeQuiet PSU!

Glad to say I will be upgrading most likely though later.

unless I'm mistaken the hx620 has a 5yr warranty so you still have a bit left incase it goes in the near future. I have one that's 3 1/2yrs old and still going strong.

The warranty sticker has rubbed off mine (still some reminents in the screw).
