Hi Guys,

My new system is up and running (finally! :)) my problem is that i'm still using my old generic 300w psu that came with a cheap case, now this is what i'm running so far:

e2180 @ 2ghz,tuniq 120 cooler, abit ip35-e, 2gb ocz ram
160 sata drive, ati radeon x300, dvd rom and cd/dvd writer and a single case fan.

Now in the manual for the motherboard it recommends at least a 400w psu, so i'm grateful it's even running.

I havent attempted any overclocking as yet, my question is this. What new psu should i buy for overclocking with? Ideally cheap as chips would be good :)

Recommend away please :)

ALL DEPENDS ON GFX CARD MATE, BUT EVEN SO THE 620W IS OVERKILL, GET THE 520W ONE

*sorry about caps*

Do you think i should attempt to overclock now or is it not worth it because of the psu?

I wouldn't myself but then I like the simple life. If your a thrill seeker who doesn't mind the risk of something blowing up then go for it. However if you must push it then maybe its worth waiting for the shops to open properly after NYE so u can get a replacement!
