I am currently sitting next to 3 blown PSU's and 2 of them are powercool ones.

Both the powercool ones are 750W and lasted about 3-4 months before the small firework display which ended with them packing in. Luckily, they didn't take any other parts with them but will not be using powercool again.

I think there are probably much better PSU's for the money anyway.

What are your components and will you be upgrading in the future?

SLI or xfire?

I'm certain you could buy a comparable / superior PSU from OcUK for a that kind of money, you don't need to look elsewhere :D

Thanks guys been looking and would rarther go with a brand I know from here as they tend to only offer decent products.

System not that top end. Running
q6600 @ 3000mhz
2x2gb ddr2
5770 gpu
1x sata dvd burner
4x sata hard drives

couple of usb bit plugged in. want modular as in a htpc case so room a bit restricted

1 x Corsair Builder Series CX 600w Modular '80 Plus Bronze' Power Supply (CP-9020060-UK) £56.99
