psu issue....i think

Bought my hx620 a few years ago and i think its dying. Last night my computer randomly switched off and restarted about 4 times. there wasn't any pattern (llike every x minutes). I wasn't gaming or doing anything strenuous.

Sadly i can't return it as I've opened it up to clean the fan.

Is there anything i can do that will stress the psu without potentially damaging anything else?

Or does my problem sound like something else?

Could be your overclock on your CPU, have you tried doing a CMOS reset and possibly only one memory module.

Ill try that later, sounds possible actually, was tweaking my oc a few nights ago. Although its now lower on lower vcore and it was 8 hours prime and 25 runs of ibt on max (16gb ram) stable. Will try again later though.

Yeah If its just started and coincides with a recent change then go back to the original overclock and see if the problems still happen..

Well its been up for an hour now (casual web browsing) and nothing yet. Fingers crossed, otherwise it'll be a trip to Cardiff to buy another
