PSU making a rattling sound :S

just turned my computer on all was fine had a quick go on splinter cell all of a sudden i can hear a rattling.

so i turned of the computer unplugged all the fans (so can hear the noise abit clearer and try to identify where its coming from) it sounded like it was coming from the PSU

isit on the way out already?

its a Corsair Builder Series CX 500W V2 '80 Plus Bronze' Power Supply

Does it sound like the fan is rattling on the psu ?

Yeah, ive just put my hand on top of the psu and pushed down slightly and it stopped the rattling so im guessing something has come loose some how

Open it up and see if the fan can be tightened, alternatively if under warranty then send it back.

Im hunting for the receipt now, got a feeling it was in a pile of papers that got ruined when the missus was decorating so might have to open it up if it was ruined and thrown away
