Psu/ memory advice please.

Turned my pc on tonight and it started for a second then stopped and wouldn't start again. Firstly I tried the test button on my Psu which is the corsair 860i, and it failed, it would show some glimmer of life then stop. So up into the attic for my spare Psu and after fitting it it runs fine but Pc will not post and I am thinking maybe the Corsair Psu has taken my memory out. Is this possible? If so how could I test this on my system before renewing?
Damn Psu is only a few months old too!

Clear the cmos and then give it another try.

Its not unknown. I'd boot with one stick at a time & run memtest each time.

Well I have managed to get it booted, I had to change my 2 sticks of memory to the other 2 slots, then it boots fine, but a wierd thing is happenning in windows, 1st a program I have said the license has expired, then when I went to google it was showing as an unsafe webpage, also all my forum webpages have a warning of being unsafe.
I will clear the cmos and report back in a bit, thanks for your suggestions.

Well the Psu seems to be working on Self test again and I cleared cmos, the memory works in the original slots again, wierd.
I will try it with one component at a time, thanks again for your help.
