Currently have a Seasonic 700W power supply for the following:

4x 1TB drives, 1x DVD, 1xSSD, 1 ATI 4890, 1 ATI 3650.

I have another 4890 sitting here that I would like to stick in (currently it doesn't power up if I replace the 3650) -guess there isn't enough juice!

I also plan to add in two Enterprise SAS drives.

soooooooo, what is the best power supply for:

4x 1TB SATA
2x 76GB SAS
1x DVD,
1xSSD,
2 ATI 4890

Thanks!

your 700 should be enough tbh, have you tried the 4890 youve got lying round instead of the 4890 plugged in? to make sure its not faulty card

Exactly what i was thinking. You should have no problems with that 700w, best to try and do a bit of fault finding with the second 4890 card.
