PSU Power

Yes you can, just for you:

"If you buy goods on the internet you have the same rights as if you were shopping on the high street. In addition, you have the right to a seven-day cooling-off period from the date you receive the goods, with the right to a full refund regardless of the reason for return. However, this doesn't apply in some situations, for example if the goods were personalised for you, were perishable, or are not in the same condition as when they were delivered."

Source.

If its not fit for the job you want done then return and replace. How else will you know for sure. I been reading these forums for years overclockers are more then used to this process.

Hmm really, i thought it was for if you get it, opened it and changed your mind. However seems the quote above is pretty clear.

Although now im thinking that maybe i'll stick with my 4890 for around a month till the 7950s come out and get the 7970. So wouldnt be able to test the 7970 draw and send back the psu. Anyways reviews have said 2 7970s would be fine on 850w, tri-fire is a different story.

2560x1440 - tri-fire quite possibly yes.

That wont run 2 7970s let alone a tri-fire setup.

Also according to the link spain gave, the ax850 gave a max of 1045W. Hmmm what to do....

750w should be fine for crossfire 7970 gpu's as looking at the review below they pull 497w from the main at load with the system.

Guru3d got a bit higher but they are using a overclocked i7 9xx system:
