PSU Powerful enough?

I've just bought a Lian-Li PC-60 Plus and it comes with a 400W Enermax Liberty.

And I was just wondering, will this PSU be powerful enough with the below spec, or will I need to buy a new one?

x1900 xtx Graphics
2 Gig ddr2 Ram
Asus P5KC
And an Intel Core 2 Duo (Not decided which yet, but a cheapish one)

Thanks

The 400W Liberty is quite a capable PSU which has been shown running a X1950 pro based setup. Its got total 30A on the +12V RAIL, so I'll say it should just cope :)

Like hp7909 says it should be fine although I'd probably not suggest overclocking too much without considering buying a decent higher wattage model. As with any new PSU/system combo I'd suggest checking the voltages periodically anyway, Asus PC Probe would do it or even something like Speedfan. :)

I got it from the bay, "BRAND NEW, FACTORY SEALED, UNOPENED." for £90 inc. postage :) Haven't received it yet, but it's apparently on its way.

the 400w gets a bit noisy when at high loads otherwise should be fine iv run a E6300, 650i SLi, 2gb, 7900GT and 3 x 500gb on it with no probs but the fan did seem to whine

Well that's a lot more than I'll be running with it. I'll try it out and see how I feel about it. If not I can just buy a new one :p

Just wanted to bump this topic because I'm still not sure on it, I've now bought everything, so I know exactly what I have:

Asus P5KC Combo Intel P35
Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 "LGA775 Conroe" 2.66GHz
ATI Radeon X1900XTX
GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) PC6400C4 800MHz Ultra Low Latency DDR2
2 x Western Digital Caviar SE16 250GB 2500KS SATA-II 16MB Cache
1 x Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 80GB ST380815AS SATA-II 8MB Cache
NEC AD7170S Serial ATA 18x18 DVD±RW Dual Layer ReWriter

All running on a:
ENERMAX PC Liberty ELT400AWT 400W Power Supply

The case and PSU are to be delivered tomorrow, so just wanted a final check that it'll be ok before I boot it all up. Or shall I be looking at buying a new PSU?

Should be fine, as I said before I wouldn't suggest overclocking until/unless you get a more powerful PSU. The system is more or less identical to jammir's so you may find it a bit noisy I suppose. :)

any reason why you got 3 hdds? you could have just got 1x 500GB

hehe, I dunno really. I just thought it would be easier, so I can keep each HD for a specific task, such as one for media, music, videos, etc. Was only cheap so .. :)
