hi, when i turn my pc on from a full shutdown it will turn of for a few seconds then re-set then work fine from there on. also when i shutdown my pc it will make a short screeching noise as its turned off, any ideas what could be causing this?

Hi, I think it could be a cold boot problem, my DFI does this, it starts up then shuts down and restarts I think this is due to the overclock the motherboard has to reboot to put the overclock in place. (hope the above is correct)
The screeching noise could be the low voltage speaker on your graphics card, there was a thread a while back in the graphics forum.
