So my fsp 800watt psu has developed a really high pitched whine whenever i run a intensive 3d application. Also when i heavily overclock my unlocked 6950 and run the heaven benchmark it shuts off my pc as i click to quit the benchmark. I guess its not providing enough power to the graphics card.

So i need to send it back for an rma (not on ocuk but elsewhere)

Before i do that i will need to order a replacement. Its unlikely that i will ever go crossfire, as my mobo is x16-x4 however who knows what will happen in the future.

I want a modular power supply with minimal wires, but it must offer excellent performance and power my heavily overclocked and unlocked 6950, i dont want to have any problems not providing enough power. I have a budget of £100.

I like the look of this one, but it might be slightly out of my price range once i add on delivery.

What would you guys suggest?

"I like the look of this one" which one :D

Thinking off the top of my head, you should get a solid PSU for that budget.

Yep forgot to include the link. :D Its been added now.

The xfx one is out of my range though, but that green fan blade gives me tingles down below. ;)

hmm maybe you'll need to remove the 2.5'' bay section at the bottom. apart from that, should be ok. measure the inside of the case.

I have the 2.5 near the front intake fan. I've completly removed the 3.5 hard drive bay and put the 2.5 in its place so i dont think that will be an issue for me. Thanks.
