PSU question

hi, I have SuperFlower Golden Green HX 750W "80 Plus Gold PSU and I have a question because on there are two cpu cables attached one cpu1 and cpu2 can anyone tell me why there are two?. and another question is I have plugged two cables to my GPU and there are two hanging out: https://www.dropbox.com/s/j2rzuaaxiussik3/20141213_215030.jpg?dl=0

do I have to plug them to the psu?
Or are thry extra if I wanted to have second gpu?

Some high end motherbaords have 2 sets of power connections for the cpu, you need just to use one set, the other set can be wrapped up and put to one side.

Gpu power I would use the PCI-E cables direct from the PSU rather than Molex connections which you have done - AMD you will need to use both power connections.
 
Ditch the molex to pci-e adaptors that you have got plugged into the gpu and use the proper pci-e leads from the psu.

I would get some dust filters for that case too.
