Hello, I’m looking to make a new system and have got most of my parts. The last piece I need is a suitable PSU.

My system has 64GB RAM, i9, 4090, 1 x 30” monitor, 3 x SSD (1 X NVMe).

I was considering a few things, firstly product availability, compatibility with the graphics power connector/ATX3.0 and total power available. I was thinking 1200W minimum?

Please could anyone assist me?

Yep. Question though, how much money do you want to spend on said suitable PSU? I'll give you an idea. This is a 1.2kw ATX 3.0 spec PSU & from Seasonic so it will be one of the best out there when its in stock. Not cheap though.

My basket at OcUK:

Total: £300.49 (includes delivery: £10.50)

The alternative is to buy an older spec PSU & use an adaptor.

You don't need 1200W.

Is this PC a workstation or a gaming system? The spec suggests the former, in which case you might want to consider going higher than gold, but if you're comfortable with that, my choice of an atx 3.0/pci-e 5.0 psu would be the toughpower gf3 1000.
