PSU too small for case?

Lo all,

Need some help with my new case : https://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-020-AK

Liking it a lot except for the fact that my PSU does not fit into the bay -- it's too small! My PSU is this : http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-023-EN&groupid=701&catid=123&subcat=111

Now the problem is that when I put the case upright the PSU is too small to screw into the case or rest on the 'ledge'. It hangs at an angle and I don't know what to do.

Any ideas?

The PSU should fix with 4 screws to the rear of the case. I've never seem one that fits any differently regardless of space around it

That's my problem, the screw holes don't align so there's nothing to screw into.

Case is on it's side at the moment. Gutted!

edit : thanks for the reply decto. Anything I can do to improve the situation?

Try inverting the PSU

Spin the PSU by 180 degrees .... only comment on OCUK is that you need 3 hands to get the PSU screws in !

You mean effectively turn it upside down? Or have I misunderstood?

I guess so,

The PSU is a standard ATX design so unless the case manufactures have got it wrong it should fit.

Some cases require the PSU to be inverted to fit but this is usually quite obvious based on the cutout and the position of the cooling fan or exhaust vent to the rear. It can be confusing with PSU's that have the fan internally and don't have back panel fan as sometimes they need to be fitted with the internal fan facing up to the top of the case where normally you'd expect the internal fan to sit right over the CPU

so you should, lol it can be very frustrating when somthing is staring at you i know ive been there
