PSU too small for case?

The PSU should fix with 4 screws to the rear of the case. I've never seem one that fits any differently regardless of space around it

That's my problem, the screw holes don't align so there's nothing to screw into.

Case is on it's side at the moment. Gutted!

edit : thanks for the reply decto. Anything I can do to improve the situation?

I guess so,

The PSU is a standard ATX design so unless the case manufactures have got it wrong it should fit.

Some cases require the PSU to be inverted to fit but this is usually quite obvious based on the cutout and the position of the cooling fan or exhaust vent to the rear. It can be confusing with PSU's that have the fan internally and don't have back panel fan as sometimes they need to be fitted with the internal fan facing up to the top of the case where normally you'd expect the internal fan to sit right over the CPU
