PSU with a 20pin cable into a 24 pin motherboard

Hi,

Is it possible to run a 24pin motherboard off a 20pin psu? It's for a low powered HTPC build but I need a MATX psu and the only ones I can find have the 20 pin connections! I already have the motherboard and don't want to have to buy another.
