PSU with least chance of coil whine?

Planning on building a new system and wondering what PSU is well know for not having any sort of coil whine. I currently have a Corsair TX650 (original version) and as long as I can remember I get horrible coil whine (or whatever it is) when gaming (especially at high fps).

I've gone through like six graphics cards since getting this PSU and I get the same noise each time. Is this 'coil whine' coming from the PSU or the graphics card? I used to think it was coming from the graphics card, but I've had the same issue on every graphics card, which seems unlikely.

Looking for something with at least 750w. Don't mind going with Corsair again, but it's been a long time since I got the TX650, not sure how good they are these days.

Corsair has some pretty nice units with thier RMx and RMi range. I use the HXi as those two do not come in 1200 watts and if anything those are an improvement. Very solid quality units. Use a nice and quiet fluid dynamic fan and a very silent fan profile. In the event the fan does turn on its still quiet and have not had any coil whine from the few I have used.

Hard to say if it's the gpu, psu or psu affecting gpu. But do not get any audiable whine from my gpu with this psu.

One way to find out, stick your head in your case / next to the bottom of your psu then next to the gpu. I had a Corsair TX850 for years and recently bought an EVGA supernova g2 850 the coil whine is vastly reduced and fan rattle (reason i rma'd it) is gone totally. It still has a very slight whine / hiss when very high fos is registered in game menus and such and fps goes to 800 or something daft but this would be oresent on all PSUs.

Have a read of this thread for recommended psu's and whine in general plus other info - https://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18642494

Ive used my corsair ax1200 for two generations now. First sandy now skylake. Never had coil whine. Currently running with two msi 970s.
Make sure you have an audiophile power mains cable and filtered extension socket I use qed. Def helps
