I'd suggest against replacing the supplied PSU - I dare say it wouldn't do the warranty any good.

OMG :( didnt even look at link !

But i think you'd be allowed to upgrade the psu, for the 295.

i think its allowed, i read the reviews and someone has done it before

i was thinking of a higher voltage PSU like 850W but i only have 120 pounds

any ideas?

Headroom is stupid. It's going to consume nowhere near what it sais it needs and if you think it's making it more upgrade friendly then it's kind of not. Technology is getting more energy efficient as time goes on, not less. Imagine it on a graph, it starts out low then there's a spike for the last few years and now it's starting to go back down. Like a bell curve.

Give the Sales Team a call on 0870 443 0880, voice your interest on the system and just ask about upgrading the PSU.

If they recommend a better model for the more power hungry card, they will build a bespoke package.

The guys at OcUk are top notch and I'm sure they could sort you out
