With the imminent release of the PSVR2 and the majority of the speculating over. It's time for a spangly new owners thread, where first thoughts on the actual hardware can be had and help and assistance provided on setup and use for fellow users.

Just purchased, GT7 and RE village and cant wait. I will be double dipping on Rez Infinite for the new eye tracking and haptic features and maybe Moss book 2.
I'm hoping for some sort of discount for games i already own on PSVR.

Hmmm, lashings of queasiness reported from those that have just got them.

Mines arrived, the box is so much smaller than the psvr1 box was

The store I got it from even put a $100 meal delivery service voucher in the package, that was nice of them

I've spent a couple of hours on GT7 and Rez and am really impressed with it so far, the screen quality is brilliant and not had any isses with tracking. Its much more comfortable than my Quest 2 and doesnt cause any problem with wearing glasses either.

Im not impressed by the visuals from what I've played. The games that have VR modes look way worse than the non VR graphics and the screen has a grainy look to it, pixels are easy to see and a lot of text is hard to read and has godrays coming off of them. I might see if I can return my headset for a refund or just sell it to someone who will get more enjoyment, VR headsets have a long way to go before I'll be happy - at this rate at least 10 years away

Try a Quest Pro on a high end PC, and you'll see a glimpse of the future. It's not quite there yet, but it's very close in terms of sharpness and clarity, and it's very near OLED colours. The clarity from pancake lenses coupled with a MicroLED display have to be seen to be believed.

Of course that's about three times the cost of a PS5 with a PSVR2...

I wonder what the percentage is of PSVR2 owners that are new to VR?
this is my first dabble in VR with the PSVR2. I had a very brief play on a pre-production occulus rift years ago on a game somewhat like wipeout 2097 that was incredibly vomit inducing, but this is very clearly a massive step up from that

I noticed a VR game 'Cactus Cowboy' whilst browsing the ps store which is surprisingly Free. I didn't last five minutes or make it through the tutorial without feeling queasy though. Non of the other games I've tried have had that effect on me in such short time.
