Hello there!

I am doing my final year psychology research project and I will be really happy if you can participate. In general, the research is about cognitive performance (exploring video/computer game players and non-players). You will be required to fill a short survey and your help will be GREATLY appreciated!

I would also like to note Im posting here because I want to reach fellow gamers (and non-gamers in for that matter :)) for help to conduct a psychological research (for which im not paid, nor I seek any commercial benefit) which will help boost the knowledge on the topic within the academia.

Thanks in advance!

Will do it tomorrow, was reading an article about gamers brains vs non-gamers, so I would love to know your results for your study (when its finished ofc) :)

The green dot thing needs explaining more. I was waiting for a new set of dots when they started moving again and realised some had already flashed red! Much better second time when I knew what was happening.

Got distracted on the 2nd test of green dots on the first level. If this is going to tell you anything, its how boring simple tests are and that id rather eat than do it :p.

Thank for your participation guys! I really appreciate it! Regarding the paper, I will post it in June on the same website. Alternatively (cuz you will probably forget all about this research till then:)) you can send me a e-mail at [email protected]. And I will send you the paper as soon as its finished/evaluated. :)))

Alrighty, I have 4 more days for participant gathering. Feel free to participate if you havent. I will post the report in 2 months. :)

I started and quit sorry. The initial questions don't make any sense when related to the 1 - extremely uncharacteristic of me to 5 - extremely characteristic of me when they start asking questions of 3rd parties.

For example the question "my friends think I'm a hot head", it just doesn't make sense.

Since this is my last day of gathering data before I start analysing it and writing my dissertation, this message will serve me as a shameless bump, and also thanks all those who participated! If you still haven’t, your help will be greatly appreciated! :)
