Having a girl over for supper, very important that it goes well, however the following dietary requirement; no

Dairy
Wheat
Chocolate

I am fine until it comes to pudding - suggestions?

Cheesecake falls at the first hurdle :(

Unless you can get non-dairy cheese these days!

Jam Roly Poly is out as it has wheat in. Battenburg out for the same reason. Does pastry have wheat in it? Apple pie? Sprinkle cinnamon over it so its not wrong without ice cream/cream.

Thats a pretty crap list of dietary requirements to fit a dessert into. Just make more of the main and make sure she's full :p

dairy free pavlova is something i'd like to see
Does egg count as a dairy product?

Though I suppose pavlova would be pretty crap without a cream topping :(

How about asking what desserts she likes.

I didn't think so, maybe seek should explain what he means

It's probably possible to make some caramel sauce ... but I'd prob just make some fresh cream for myself!

fruit salad?

I think that has to be it tbh... although was thinking of Melon and Parma ham to start with... to go back to fruit at the end doesn't fit with the natural progression! Also what wine goes with a fruit salad?

I'll just speak with her - I have known her for years but it is only in the last month she has taken on this strange diet. At least I am not having her for breakfast - then I'd be truly stumped.

I reckon sweet stewed fruit, still nice and firm with a nice sharp sorbet

Mmmm I want that now instead of my M&S Double Chocolate and Pear pudding :p

Edit, better idea: sorbet and champagne. Winner.

There was already a sorbet planned as a cleanser before pudding.

Sausage usually has wheat in it.
Buy fresh from the farm shop. I'd be very surprised if they do.

The black pudding comment I'll concede, I never eat it, so don't know much about it :p
