Pull-Push vs Pull

Simple question really. What's the advantage in running a pull-push fan setup on either side of a rad?
Is airflow increased significantly over fans only set up to pull from one side?

In my experience it doesn't make a massive difference but that can depend on the type of fans, cooler, radiator etc.

I noticed 2C difference using 2 Vipers compared to 1 in my setup.

You get around 1/3 more airflow through the heatsink.
The velocity of the air molecules slow down inside the heatsink, they then get pushed out by the flow of more molecules from a single fan.

Two fans, it's continuous efficient flow of air through the heatsink.
