Pulled last night - decent copper

Maybe he saw the size of you and thought you might start benching him or something! :p

I thought you drive a Focus derv? Or is it still the 330d?

I got pulled over 100 yards from my house at midnight the other week, after seeing a lady friend. Just asked if i owned the car, and where i lived, i said round the corner lol.

He then asked if it was import, and i was like yo 5'O JDM ma snizzle, and he high fived me and i drove off.

I did stall it actually, trying to use as little throttle as poss, lol.

Cool story, bro.

yes

I'd buy it back in a heartbeat if I could track the bloody thing down :( :( :(

boo hoo

I read about a scam a while ago where people were writing to the DVLA making up some excuse and legally getting peoples details from a reg, then going to their house and stealing keys etc...

Surely you could make up some excuse or something and get the current owners details from the DVLA. Pop something in the post with an offer and see what they say.

Surely the plate means very little unless your name is Will so an offer of £800 to buy the plate might be a welcome late xmas present for someone.

Don't turn up in the 911 though or they might take you for a ride and want £8000!

So far I've experienced 1 set of nice coppers, they let me off while caught peeing in public, they could have fined my mate for making noise too ( he was revving his Golf while they were near him) but also let him off with a warning, I was honestly stumped they let us off.

Luckily I've still not been stopped in any of my own cars, I have been fined for going the wrong way (time restricted road for 1 direction) in the work van ( there's a road near me which is closed in 1 direction between 5-7pm, against rush hour traffic, any other moment it's a 2 way road and I didn't know, didn't notice the signs.) and fined for it, that cop was an arse saying I shouldn't drive there to avoid traffic: it was not as if I was taking a shortcut, I actually visited a company on that road to load something, but oh well.

Still see plenty ****ers on the side of the road with a multinova radar setup, or lasers, still of the opinion a about half of the cops are likely ********, about 50% is nice and honest at a guess.

Still, until recently, I thought most of em were just around to collect extra taxes and shaft the working while ignoring more important crime around here. There are more nice cops than I thought.

A mate of mine got pulled a couple of years ago, just after hitting about a ton on a dual carriageway in his Evo 8, copper was pretty sound, said something along the lines of "I know it's a fast car but just go a bit more steady ok" and off he went.

Another time I got pulled by a horrible copper, all I did was accelerate a bit hard down a petrol station slip road on to a 70 mph dual carriageway, doubt I even passed 60, the guy pulled me over and screamed at me, even swore at me, I was quite shocked at the time, he did a few checks and sent me on my way. What a ****.
