Pulling the trigger in next hour: 780 GTX - EVGA or ASUS?

Must be bios issue. I just flash ASUS as soon as the card enters the board. Even for binning. Then flash back if it does not make the grade and is going in regular systems.

Using stock bios and voltage, power target at 105%. Temps are pretty ok on it at 65c max in game/benchmarks.

81.4 on my WF780 happy games at 1267core,@1.212v, setter you tried gregs guide and flashed a skynets bios?
Had a quick glance at it, tbh if i did flash a custom bios it would only be to eek a bit more out for benching. For games i run the card at stock due to better temps as my case is woeful for cooling.

As good as the WF was for temps i made a custom fan curve in AB still quiet but temps dont pass 68c gaming same case stock curve i was hitting 75 at 1267
But yeah problem dumping that air into your case you do need good airflow:( still a great card at stock!

It is indeed a great card. Ill be changing cases in march to a new phanteks enthoo luxe or primo. So airflow should be much better than my current shinobi xl. Fan wise, im currently running a custom 1-1 ratio setting, 40% at 40c etc. 65c max in bf4.

Yeah the Classified has Samsung vram. I've heard of a few people who could barely up the memory clock, though.
Mine hit 1700Mhz which is decent I think.

Hynix according to the latest version of GPUZ.

How to you overclock?
I set power to 110
increased to 1193

Tomb raider and Metro:LL gave me a worse score than 1003 mgz:rolleyes:

Run something like Heaven/Valley/3DMark11 and see what you score on those with stock clocks and then do the same with your overclock and see what you score.

Game bench runs can be a little hit and miss at times, although I have found the TR bench to be pretty good and generally an OC gives me good results.
