Pullups seem to plateaux

Ive been doing wide arm pullups for some time now, couple of times a week probably..

Now I cant seem to get beyond doing about 3 x 6. My form starts going to hell in the end.

I fully extend my arms outright and pullup until my chin is above the bar.

Why arent they getting easier :(
 
I weight 13.8 stone, Im 6ft 3.

Maybe that might affect things slightly, Im taller than most
 
Add some more weight and do more sets with fewer reps. For example 5 sets of 3 or 4 reps with 5/10kg hanging off you.

You won't get any stronger lifting the same weight. Your endurance would eventually increase if you were to train past failure by standing on a chair and assiting yourself when you fail but it's not the best method.
 
Ok thanks Ill try that mate, I had the idea of using assistance to get more reps out, but your idea sounds like it could be useful too.

Its frustrating because my strength is getting decent everywhere else.
