i just got a new pump DDC 10w, and a new rad GTS-Lite 360
i was hoping for a massive upgrade from my xspc pump/res and 120mm rad. instead i have a very slow flow and temps have gone up.

cooling ring is.

alpha cool 250ml tube res -> DDC 10w Pump stock top -> heatkiller 3.0(am3+) -> GTS-Lite 360 -> Res

Tubing is 10mm/16mm xspc clear, coolant is deionized water as allays.
Temps have gone up due to the slow flow, but is this the fault of the pump or rad?

How do you know you have slow flow? To get temps to go up 5degC you need it to really be trickling round the loop. Have you fully bled the loop as it could be an airlock somewhere?

i know the flow is slow because i can see it trickling into the res from the top port. the old set up the water going in was very clearly under more force

i will give it a shake latter to see if all the air is out of the loop

hahahaha i am a total n00b.
i had the pump running into an extension then the psu, the extention was a molex fan speed reducer. so the 12v pump was running at about 7v.

all is now sorted i will give myself a good talking to for this
