Pump question

I read recently on another forum where someone achieved lower temperatures by plugging the pump "fan" connector into the case fan rather than the cpu fan socket on the mobo and running it at max settings.

Is this the norm?

Which all in one unit are you using? Most are designed to be run at full speed on the pump and then the fans controlled by the temperature.

Is it the Antec Kúhler H2O 620 in your sig?

From the info on their page it should be run at 100% power.
