Pump stopped working?

Have you tried tipping your system around to see if any air is in your rads or anywhere

No, you don't want the pump to run dry.
You want to dry and move the buddles out from the pump/system i had similar issues with my ddc+ek top too.

If I can't get my pump working guys would you suggest getting a new one or selling my water-cooling stuff and getting a high end air coolernlike the nh-d14 or the be quiet dark rock pro?

Could always get a new stock 1 and put your xspc top onto it yourself.

I wouldn't give up that quick, strip it and test it, it is most probably trapped air causing it to stall

I emailed the guy who sent me the pump and he said if I send it back to him bell have a look at it and try and fix it

I drained the loop and opened the pump ill upload some pics of it

what is going on at the wiring, it should not look like that

Also in the top pic there is green fluid in the outer casing, that shouldn't be there.

it was modded by the previous owner to the power of the ddc 1 ultra

well it looks well shody, way way too much solder by the looks of it and a complete mess, try and get your money back and buy a new new would be best advice on that

Also I think the coolant may be there because there was a little bit of it left in the res top

It's hard to tell from the photo due to exposure but there appear to be a few scorch marks on the PCB? is there any fluid in the bottom of the plastic case that held the motor? if so give it a good dry out and try it again but don't run it dry even for testing as they're designed to pump water.

Yeah that solder looks terrible, I thought I was bad at soldering. that probably is the cause of your problem.

but +1 to mmj, I see dark brown (burn) marks aswell!

i'd get your money back, and get a different pump!

i think it may of short circuited as the solder looks like it's all joined together not good
