Purchasing items on forums (not ocuk)

For that sort of transaction, I'd probably take a Friday off and road trip it with a mate. That way you get to see the wheels prior to purchase, get a road trip and possibly a night out on the beer somewhere random.

Worst case you get a night out on the beer somewhere random with a mate - win/win!
 
I agree with go through ebay and paypal.

I asked someone to do this when I required a car part and he just had a listing saying micra being broke for spares/repairs email for requests. My airbox was nackered so I got him to list his as a buy it now for me:)

Yeah if it was north England I might, but it would be a 1050 mile round trip to Suffolk!
 
Do some background work on the person selling, then BT is probably the best bet. Check other people who have bought from him and see if they got was offered.
