*** Pure ***

i've played the demo and thought nice! saying that i didnt try with my 360 pad so i might be better! I found it hard to do tricks etc ... might have just been me.

class game bit consoleish but that is no bad thing good arcadey fun something pc games seem to be lacking these days

runs fine for me aswell

good game but the loading times are a joke, some sort of bug and the menu loads for forever, also sometimes game freezes while loading stage, but runs and looks stunning, runs very well, no slowdowns etc,

Disable vsync to improve load times apparently.

Still not going to buy as the demo gave me the impression it is a poor mans Motorstorm so think I will get Motorstorm2 instead.

Pure is a great game.
It took me a while to get used to the tricks.
Also there are loads of different parts you can upgrade on your ATV

are we talking about the loading ingame or the menu screens?

loading ingame is about 1 sec for me , but loading the levels / maps is about half a min.

i've just used my 360 pad and tbh its 100% better than using keyboard

but quite gutted that the demo is quite short i find , i might grab it once its about a year old :P

The game runs awful for me.

Even at 1024*768 with everything on low the game just judders along with the sound stuttering and clipping.

Any idea's?

That can't be right ^^^^ have u updated drivers ect gfx;)

All drivers are up to date.

COD4 runs fine, BIA:HH runs fine as does everything else.

It could be a dodgy install I guess?!? It's crashed twice now loading a level and all I get is a sound loop on a black screen if I try and start the game.

It's not a bad game, but there's three things that really bug, and it's more the first two than the last one.

1. Gas - WTF! Why did they have to have a gas meter? It's completely ruins freestyle! I want to pull tricks, not make gas stops.

2. Loading times - Why the insanely long loading times, especially when I look at my HDD activity light and it's doing nothing?
3. Trick buttons - Why so many? Do we really need 6 buttons to cover all the tricks? My 360 pad doesn't quite have the correct layout for so many button requirements.

Anyway, still a good game overall. Not tried online yet, which was one of the mains reasons for purchasing.
