PWM 120/140 options?

Very possible.

I have Corsair TX750v1 and tx650v2 PSUs with their advertised "An ultra-quiet, 140mm double ball-bearing fan delivers excellent airflow with exceptionally low noise levels by varying fan speed in response to temperature."
 Lying barstewards!! Ultra-quiet my foot!
Both can easily be heard at idle from 2-3 meters away!
 
So far, despite trying all the different fans I have in various places, I get about 3db less fan noise, but get around 10-20ºC less cooling than from the crappy stock fans...!! :(

If the stock ones worked with the FC6, I'd probably go back to them.
