Yeah, as cjgardens says they are good and been around a while. I have a few QD3's to connect the hoses for an external loop, and one of their old CPU-380I blocks.

I have a feeling some of their older black QD3's might have had problems with leaking so might be worth checking if that's still an issue (this was a few years back).

In the first link you added, the picture doesn't match the part number. The part numbers with the 'S' are a newer shorter version, the image is the older long one.

You will need a male and female for each join you want to make. You can get G1/4 ones for screwing directly into water blocks, and the ones you linked for flexible hoses. Also bulkhead for going through a panel etc, and for hose connections either compression or barb - obviously need to match your tube size.and guide for If you haven't done so yet, it's probably worth having a look at some images of them installed on blocks (if you go that way) since they are relatively long compared to just a compression fitting once connected together just so you know they will be OK with what you are planning.

There are a couple of other brands of QD's now as well (Alphacool etc).
there don't seme to be any reviows on youtube for QD fittings lol, will the slow the flow rate by much? do you think

I still use koolance quick disconnects
And they're the older vl3n
Really solidly built lasted me a lot of years so far
The qd3 may be a little smaller and not as hefty
Very useful things
Just remember you need to leave enough slack
Takes probably 2 inches of movement to disconnect
So you don't want tubing that's cut cm perfect and taut

Edit
Never measured flow rates with out them
Then with them
All I can say is got 3 sets of them in my loop
And no noticeable effects I can see
Everything seems fine temperature wise and coolant returns to reservoir with
Enough flow to make it look like a choppy sea
cool do the qick disconects cut flow as soon as you press the release?
