Q: Recording audio from an .avi file

I have a video (avi) with a friend playing the Uke. I would like to just take the audio and record it into mp3 format. What’s the best way to record the sound from the video?

VirtualDub will strip the audio from an avi file to make a .wav. You can then process the .wav in whatever you like to compress it to an MP3.
