Q6600 OC help

Hi all,

I've had my Q6600 running at 3.4Ghz for over a year now.

Ive just purchased 4GB of Corsair XMS2 DHX RAM. While doing this i obviously Reset my CMOS but now i need help overclocking it correctly.

This is what i had before...

As you can see the RAM was only running at 705mhz.

Heres what my new RAM is at

And heres some of the settings i have in my BIOS for Overclocking.

Any Idea where to start?

Just copy whats in the top picture to the bottom one, though check what voltage your memory should be. It'll say on the label on the side.

Obviously don't copy that part if it's different.

No issues.

Im happy leaving the RAM alone, but when i try to put my CPU back up it wont boot into windows.

When you say you have new RAM, is it replacing the old stuff, or adding to it?

What speed was the old stuff?

Its Replacing 2GB of Crucial RAM which was also 800MHz

And is it 4x1 or 2x2?
