Hi

I have just got my q6000 and its overlocked on air. I was wondering if I had the memory multiplier (SPD) at the correct value as well as the PCI express frequency at "AUTO". I think I am all set to go once I have this information.

Here is my PC is this helps.

Q6600
Gigabyte DS3P rev 3.3 (F5 BIOS)
4GB Geil DDR2 800 RAM
ATI 3870XT Video Card

I hope this is enough information, thanks.

You need to change the memory multi so both memory frequencys say 800 - at the moment its underclocked.

Pci-e is normally best on 101.

Also check what voltage your ram needs at the moment your giving it 1.9v - the 4gb kit says it needs 2.0v

Ok thanks, I have set the pci-e to 101 and sync mem frequency to 400

Is this a good idea:

Setting the multi to 8x so the RAM is 1:1?

Don't have to put it to 8x as I have mine at x9 with 3.2GhZ but etching forward to 3.6GhZ with memory and bus speed in sync at 1:1 ratio.

Current Bus Speed is 360MhZ and Memory Frequency is at 360MhZ also.

Make sure temps stay below 72c, seems like the normal temperature people are saying. Make sure your Prime/Orthos test it to make it stable ;).
