So, if 174.74 drivers works, and the others don't am I correct in concluding that it must be a driver issue?

Glad that it helps you. I found that as my FSB got higher, the latency got lower. Also with the 174.74 nvlddmkm.sys installed all is fine, but with any later drivers, I get huge spikes. It's weird, and BFG is not very good at all. They say they have 24/7 support, but that's a lie. I get a reply to the first email, then silence. However, if I ask a different question, they answer back until I'm happy, but when I mention x-fi and SLI. No answers ever. Wierd eh?

Need your help guys. I have found that if I raise the FSB the crackling is there. I have also tested this by keeping my cpu at stock and raising FSB, and lowering the multiplier. The crackling has nothing to do with the CPU speed, but FSB. I have pcie frequencies on 101 and SPP <> MCP on 201. Is there anything I can try? Add more VTT voltage or something? Please guys I'm ata loss with this thing by now.
