Hi All,

Just seeking some advise on overclocking really. I've just built the below setup recently, being my first ever build I just want some advise on overclocking. I'm looking to clock at 3ghz (9x333), I've looked in the bios, and it seems easy enough to change. What confused me is, the volt settings and the ram timings, and other settings in the bios that need to be disabled etc. Could you please help me out, what would be best to do with the below rig?

Any help appreciated :)

Cheers,

Q6600

Gigabyte GA-P35-DS4 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard

OCZ 4GB (2x2GB) PC2-6400C5 Dual Channel Vista Gold Series DDR2 (OCZ2G8004GK)

Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro

Corsair HX 620W ATX2.2 Modular SLI Compliant PSU (CMPSU-620HXUK)

all i did to get 3ghz was to set the actual fsb (qdr)= 1333 with multiplyer set to 9 and vcore voltage was set to 1.25,never messed with any mem settings at that stage or any other voltage settings and it was rock solid:)i am in no way an expert though far from it actually but it worked for me:D
