Q6600 temps - too much difference?

Mine are idle @ 32,34,27,31. Under load tonight they where 58,58,52,54. I wouldn't worry about it AshM. If you are aiming for them all to read the same you could lap your cpu into a pile of dust :) As long as your load temps are good that's all that counts.

Heh, well I certainly don't want that!

Well you guys would know better than me so I'll take that advice. Just ran Prime for 15-20 mins again and it reached 54-51-47-49 which is a good improvement, so I guess I had better just leave it there.

Still annoying though! :)
 
at load mine are (using CPU Temp):

c0 - 68
c1 - 77
c2 - 68
c3 - 77

thats 9 degrees difference with 4 instancess of prime95 running. oh and i left the door closed to the room all night. its quite hot in here at the moment.

9 degrees difference though? cant be right can it?
