When using a TRUE, note that they are made slightly convex to combat how many chips are made concave. So always lap both (i haven't, but the Zalman is pre-lapped anyway).
Also, 60C under prime is fantastic! I'm having very very strange readings with mine, under same settings i get this:
Before:
Idle: 34C
Prime: 70C
Difference between cores - 9-10C
Now:
Idle: 32-39C
Prime: 63C
Difference between cores - 12C
My room is getting warmer because of summer, but that doesn't explain wild idle fluctuations, LOWER load temps and HIGHER core difference. Wtf is this chip smoking?
